Despite being imprisoned, Julian Assange is still fighting for world peace!

Julian Assange has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for the 10th time. He is known for exposing the truth about human rights abuses and war crimes committed by the U.S. across the world.

Assange created the Wikileaks to fight against war propaganda and to provide truthful information to the people. “If wars can be started by lies,” Julian argued, “peace can be started by truth.” Assange’s primary motivation has been to promote transparency so the public can hold politicians accountable and to prevent destructive needless wars.

With the change in administration in America, there has been a new flurry of promotion and defence of Assange with hashtags trending with the hope of having President Joe

President Joe Biden called on Americans at his inaugural address “to defend the truth and defeat the lies,” one cannot argue the similarities. President Biden says he wants to unite America, fight for truth and restore integrity to government. If Assange goes to the U.S. he will face 175 years in prison.

Julian Assange’s extradition hearings in the UK are starting again on September 7th. Biden to drop charges against Julian and free him. MP Matthew Hancock has told BreatheNews that Westminster Magistrates’ Court has ruled Mr Assange cannot be extradited to the United States due to concerns over his health and risk of suicide in the US. It is expected that the U.S. will appeal this decision within the 14 days.
