MEN’S- NEW YORK FASHION WEEK is kicking off with Bode founded by Emily Bode at 10am. NYFW is wrapping up with Sylvian Hyde, 200 Broadway, 3rd FL, New York, New York 10038 – Fulton Center, at 6pm. Sylvian Hyde encourages its customers to join in building a culture/community known as #HydesMen. It is aimed at ‘men who live an active, fashionable and exemplary life of contribution’ they have stated ‘We are not afraid to toy with construction or to use untraditional fabric pairings in our collection’.

New York Fashion Week was the first fashion week, founded in 1943. The first designer to present their collection is Colovos, the authentic collective vision of longtime husband and wife collaborators Michael and Nicole Colovos at Spring Studios 6 St Johns Lane, NY 10013. New York. Colovos offers a curated selection of exquisitely constructed clothing for the modern woman made in Italy and the USA. The aesthetic is a seamless blend of clean, architectural lines, beautiful fabrics and thoughtfully considered details. Colovos blends traditional tailoring/craftsmanship with modern minimal shapes to create a new take on an everyday wardrobe. The last showcase is 7:00 pm, Wednesday 14th from Irina Vitjaz, Haute Couture Fashion Designer, Irina Vitjaz is a multitalented Austrian fashion designer that was born in Russia, but to fully understand Irina and her designs, one must delve into her ancestry. (London Fashion Week Men was #LFWM 8th – 11th January 2018)

The Irish designer Richard Malone will be kicking off London Fashion Week with his catwalk show at 9:00am, The Store Studios. Malone is an advocate for sustainable fashion. Sourcing the yarns for his collections from the Himalayas, he works with a community of female artisans in Tamil Nadu, Southern India, to hand-weave the fabrics and dye them naturally. Malone is strongly against the mass production involved in the fashion industry.

London Fashion Week’s festival

London Fashion Week Festival is the UK’s most exclusive designer shopping & fashion experience. Each season, London Fashion Week Festival selects 4 of London’s hottest designers to show their seasonal collection on the catwalk and dedicates one day of the event to each designer. Each show will feature the work of one designer and lasts approximately 30 minutes. On Saturday 24th, DESIGNER, NICOPANDA will be taking their collection to the runway. Founder, Nicola Formichetti is known for his unparalleled creativity and jaw-dropping collaborations. The New York based street brand is best known for its edgy and playful approach to ready-to-wear and accessories.

Milan Fashion Week (Italian: Settimana della moda) is a clothing trade show held semi-annually in Milan, Italy. They will be kicking off at 9:30am with ‘Albino Teodoro‘. In 2004 Albino D’Amato founded the brand that bears his name. Architectural design and femininity are essential elements of his style as well as the ability to mix colors in a creative but very sophisticated way. “Mysticism, modernity and romanticism are combined in his clothes where the taste for tailoring prevails and an unmistakable “Young Couture” imprint”.

The first day of Paris Fashion Week Womens Fall / Winter 2018/19 is yet to be confirmed, however the are finishing off the week with a final show from, Paul & Joe. PAUL & JOE was created and developed by Parisian owner and designer, Sophie Mechaly. The brand was named after her two sons, Paul and Joe. It was originally introduced in 1995 as a fresh, retro, and colorful collection of menswear. The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode’s partners join PARIS FASHION WEEK. PFW shuttles take you from show to show from THE BUREAU, 28, Cours Albert 1er Paris 8th.
