iOS has released a new operating system which offers a tool called Screen Time, allowing users to restrict their phone usage. This new iOS feature breaks down the time users spend on each individual app, whilst making it easier than ever to avoid app overload, where some apps or processes overload the phone system and cause a major drain in your phone’s battery life.

On a weekly basis, users are provided with a statistical summary based on their phone activity Apple has dubbed – This has proven useful for parents and guardians, as they are now able to have an overlook on what their children have been up to and for how long

Many have taken to Twitter to comment on this new feature with one user saying how the app “will make me realise how much time I spend on my phone” and another claiming how “social networking is already having the greatest percentage in the past hour”.

Needless to say, some are finding it difficult to adjust, whilst others are finding it very useful.
